- ARTISAN FERMENTED FIREWEED FLOWER SPIKE TEA. Made from carefully selected, finely cut flowering tops of wild fireweed (Chamerion angustifolium L.), traditionally known as Ivan Chai. The harvested inflorescences undergo a carefully managed fermentation process, followed by gentle drying to develop their distinctive floral aroma and naturally rounded flavour. A handcrafted herbal tea produced in small, limited batches.
- A DELICATE FLORAL FLAVOUR. A fragrant infusion with a soft, elegant character and gentle notes of wildflower honey, ripe summer fruits and fresh meadow herbs. Subtle hints of nectar and natural sweetness unfold into a light, silky texture, leaving a refreshing, lingering finish. Compared with fermented whole-leaf Ivan Chai, this tea offers a lighter, more floral and aromatic experience.
- WILD-HARVESTED IN LITHUANIA. Our fireweed flowering tops are gathered by hand in carefully selected natural areas of Lithuania, away from major roads, heavy traffic and industrial pollution. The harvested material is carefully sorted, finely cut, fermented and gently dried in small batches, preserving its characteristic botanical identity and artisanal quality.
- WHY FERMENTED FLOWER SPIKES? Fireweed flowering tops offer a different aromatic character from mature leaves. Their delicate floral components give the infusion a distinctive fragrance, while careful fermentation helps develop a fuller, more harmonious flavour. Finely cutting the flowering tops before fermentation allows the plant material to be processed more evenly and makes the finished tea convenient to measure and brew.
- HOW TO BREW. Use 2–3 g of fermented flower spike tea per 250 ml (8.5 fl oz) of water heated to 90–95°C (194–203°F). Steep for 3–5 minutes, adjusting the time to your preferred strength. For a more delicate floral infusion, use a shorter steeping time. For a fuller flavour, allow the tea to infuse slightly longer. Naturally caffeine-free.
- SERVING & STORAGE. Enjoy hot to appreciate its delicate floral aroma, or serve chilled as a refreshing herbal infusion.
